Simplest led flashing circuit

Materials needed:

1. IC 555 timer

2. led

3. 9v power supply

4. 10 ohm resistor

5. 1 ohm resistor

6. capacitor (any value based on the speed of the flashing)

       

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM:

R1 = 10 ohms 

R2 = 1 ohm (variable)

(if not working shift the resistors)

C1 = capacitors (different values for different speeds of flashing)
